Not ready for a full-scale project but need expert guidance? Our Creative Consultation is a focused, in-home design session that helps you clarify your vision, set priorities, and make confident decisions to maximize your investment.

Investment: $495 for 1-3 hours, depending on the scope of your project.

This service stands alone or can serve as the perfect first step toward a larger design transformation.

YOUR DESIGN JOURNEY WITH US

  • This is your first step toward a beautifully designed space that reflects your lifestyle.

    What to Expect on the call-

    ✔ Project Overview – We’ll discuss your project’s scope, whether it’s a remodel, new build, or home refresh, and what you hope to achieve.
    ✔ Understanding Your Needs – We’ll ask the right questions to uncover your style preferences, functional needs, and overall vision.
    ✔ Guidance on Next Steps – Based on our conversation, we’ll help you determine if the best next step is an in-home Creative Consultation Solutions session, where we dive deeper into your project’s details.

    This call is the perfect way to ensure we’re the right fit before moving forward.

  • This in-home meet and greet is designed to open the lines of communication between us and to get us on the same page about your project’s needs and goals.

    By getting to know and understanding how you want to live, we make sure the spaces we create function the way you need them to.

    We’ll talk through your project, review your wish list, look at inspiration, ask questions about how you and your family live in the space.

    Investment: $495 for 1-3 hours, depending on project scope.

YOUR BLUEPRINT TO A BEAUTIFUL HOME

  • The Conceptual Design Phase exists to confirm your scope, layout, investment estimate and aesthetic direction.

    We’ll provide you with drawn-to-scale plans (including elevations and measurements for each area involved in the project) a series of concept boards compiled with different looks, ideas, and a Furnishing Investment Estimate.

    Together we will decide on one design concept to move forward with. We provide one round of revisions and ask you share your input all at once.

    What to Expect:

    • Furniture Floor Plans

    • Concept Boards

    • Initial Selections

  • IOnce you say yes to a design concept, it’s time for us to start sourcing actual products!

    In this phase, all materials and finishes will be selected by TDD. Depending on the project, selections may include cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, furniture, area rugs, lamps, artwork, custom window treatment designs, paint, stain, and wallpaper. We procure written quotes and prepare detailed proposals.

    The Detail Design Phase exists to turn ideas into orders

    We’ll present furnishings that are a fit for your budget, quality level and aesthetic using our industry knowledge and design expertise.

    What to Expect:

    • Floor Plans And Elevations

    • 3-D Renders

    • Final Fabrics and Selections

    • Furnishing Investment Estimatetem description

  • We communicate details to vendors and trades

    We Place Orders, Track Deliveries and Resolve Efficiencies

    We Oversee and Coordinate White Glove Deliveries

  • (for new construction and remodeling projects)

    We will serve in a Construction Support role from start to finish. We’ll provide the contractor with a Project Book, to be left on-site at all times, as a means of open communication and project knowledge.

    All finish material orders and deliveries will be managed by us including cabinetry, plumbing, countertops, etc.

  • (for furnishing and decorating projects)

    This is the day you’ve looked forward to since the beginning!

    On installation day, we will be onsite to accept all deliveries of furniture, artwork, area rugs, window treatments, etc. and to oversee their placement.

    We’ll work our magic to make sure everything is placed and styled to perfection for the grand reveal of your new dream space(s)!

  • The first step in our design process is gathering inspiration specific to your vision. Per project, an idea most often sparks from our discovery call conversation and from there we continue brainstorming together. Our main goal is to make your vision come to life. The beauty of inspiration is that it surrounds us. We look to nature most often for colors, textures, and pattern play. Trisha has a unique passion for art and architecture, one of her favorites being female architect and fellow Chicago native, Jeanne Gang. At TDD, we enjoy traveling to new places, attending design conventions, and museum hopping in hopeful ways to fuel new ideas.

  • At Trisha Davis Designs we have a very diverse design aesthetic allowing for us to work exclusively on creating a space based around our clients style, desire, and needs. We aim to get personal in understanding how you use your space and who you are as individuals managing your space. The most important aspect to us is making sure your space mirrors you.

  • Absolutely! In the design process, we make ourselves available to you all steps of the way. We enjoy being as hands on as possible allowing for us to step in as project manager at any stage. You can count on us to come up with stress free solutions for any hiccup that could occur during the duration of your project. With our 25+ years in the industry we have truly seen and heard it all. Our main priority is to ensure that this process is extremely enjoyable and rewarding for you as the end result.

  • Yes, we have the capability to draw your space to scale and work on all floor plans + technical drawings. We can also consult on plans you’ve already had drawn up to provide you with our feedback. We specialize in designing small scaled plans for custom configured spaces like cabinetry, fireplace surrounds, and built-ins. We love working on creative challenges that force us to think outside the box: like transforming an underutilized area into a functionally beautiful space.

  • Not at all. While we are a full service design co. we can design room-to-room, multi-rooms, or entire home remodels. We’ve designed and consulted on residential, commercial, and newly built properties. We work from floor plans to finishing touches and everything in between. Absolutely no project is too small or complex for us as we love to be involved in all. If your looking to get started on your project but your unsure where to start, give us a call.

  • Yes, at TDD we work with an in house, licensed contractor, who specializes in plumbing, and is exceptionally detail orientated. In our years of experience, we’ve sourced and established outstanding relationships & connections across multiple fields of design. We work with a renowned list of reliable tradesmen that cater and deliver to their specialty. We partner closely with builders and architects to develop a unified and unique design. We make it easy to work with us, we can jump in at any stage and work jointly with any desired professional of your choosing.
